What’s the minimum/maximum age limit for candidates?
There is no age limit. Especially for LanguageCert ESOL, for younger learners (pre-14) we would recommend our suite of young learner exams if the levels are appropriate.

When can the exams be taken?

Are the Spoken exams taken by candidate pairs?
No, the Spoken exams are taken by one candidate and one interlocutor (i.e. an examiner, who does not assess)
Can the learners take the LanguageCert ESOL Written and Spoken exams separately?
They can take the exams separately or together. They can also retake each exam separately. If the candidate fails the Spoken exam, they need to retake the exam. If the candidate fails any component of the Written exam (Listening, Reading or Writing) they need to retake the whole Written exam.
Can the learners take the three LanguageCert USAL esPro tests separately?
They can take the exams separately or together.
