LanguageCert USAL esPro Writing

USAL esPro Writing Spanish Test in Spanish, aligned to all levels of the CEFR*. Ideal for candidates looking to prove their Spanish language proficiency for academic and/or work purposes.

About the exam:

Part 1 : 50 – 60 words
Task:

  • Candidates write a short message, fax, letter or email using the information provided
  • It is important to cover all the points provided in the instructions

  • Candidates write a letter or a report of 180 – 200 words in the appropriate style

Results, certificates and digital badges
• Test Report, e-certificate and digital badge are released in 10 business days and are sent by email to the candidate or through the Test Centre. 

The Test report displays the candidate’s overall score, as well as a breakdown of scores for each skill tested during the test and a summary of “Can do” statement aligned to the CEFR levels. These are functional/situational statement that describe what the candidate would be expected to perform at the specific CEFR level achieved during the exam.

 

• Hard-copy certificate is sent either to the candidate or to the Test Centre shortly after results release.

Breakdown of Levels

CEFR A1

  • Can understand simple phone messages.
  • Can follow short simple written instructions especially if they contain pictures.
  • Can pass on simple messages of a routine kind.
  • Can write a simple routine request to a colleague.

CEFR A2

  • Can use the telephone for simple messages.
  • Can state and understand simple messages or instructions.
  • Can deal with clients by asking and responding to simple questions.
  • Can write simple messages and letters following a standard model.

CEFR B1

  • Can use the telephone for routine messages (e.g. arrangements for a meeting).
  • Can understand routine letters and information about familiar products or services.
