The Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE)
LanguageCert is an Institutional Affiliate of ALTE, an association of language test providers working to promote the fair and accurate assessment of linguistic ability across Europe and beyond. ALTE was set up to establish common levels of language proficiency to promote the transnational recognition of certification in Europe, while also establishing common standards for all stages of the language testing process.
The British Accreditation Council (BAC)
The British Accreditation Council (BAC) recognises LanguageCert in its BAC International English Language provider (IELP) scheme. The purpose of the IELP scheme is to acknowledge the quality of institutions and training providers, from teaching and assessment quality, to learning experience for students and supporting institutions in their efforts to continually improve. A rigorous evidence based and inspection-based accreditation service dedicated to raising standards, is also provided.
The European Association for Language Testing and Assessment (EALTA)
LanguageCert is an Institutional Member of EALTA, a professional association for language testers in Europe, whose mission is to promote the understanding of theoretical principles of language testing and assessment, as well as the improvement and sharing of testing and assessment practices throughout Europe.
LanguageCert is an associate member of Eaquals, an organisation whose mission is to foster excellence in language education across the world.
Founded in 1991 by a group of education professionals with a shared vision of an international quality association for all languages, Eaquals is expert in international accreditation, quality assurance, training and standardisation. It conducts research and creates practical resources to develop language teaching and learning throughout the world.
Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB)
LanguageCert is a full member of FAB.
Incorporated in 2002, FAB is a membership organisation for technical and professional awarding organisations in the UK. FAB liaises with key stakeholders including government departments, regulators and funding agencies to represent the interests of awarding organisations. FAB provides information, advice and guidance to support their members in the provision of high quality and valued professional and technical qualifications.
