Creativity plus technology webinar attracts teachers from 57 countries
LanguageCert, 04 February 2021
Teachers from 57 countries got creative with Nik Peachey, award winning writer and instructional designer, and Russell Stannard, award winning educational director, in a free interactive online webinar hosted by LanguageCert, the Ofqual recognised Awarding Organisation.
Marios Molfetas, Executive Director of Language Cert, introduced the event and said:
"For many countries it is now approaching a year since remote teaching and learning took centre stage in their working lives, so this webinar was an opportunity to reflect on the role of creativity and technology in supporting high quality teaching and learning experiences. With thoroughly energising and thought-provoking performances from both Nik and Russell, teachers were shown tools and techniques to help expand their creativity and student engagement. Each workshop was full of ideas, concepts, resources and positivity – with teachers engaging in tasks in real time to learn how to use various teaching and learning tools. We were delighted to hear that teachers commented how inspirational as well as practical the webinars were." He continued "at LanguageCert, we have been supporting ease of access to internationally recognised language exams through our own innovative online exam delivery method. Helping teachers to get the most out of the technology available today in the education sector is, as Nik and Russell both said, very important to all of us".
For anyone who missed this webinar, there is a further opportunity to hear from Nik and Russell in the second of these seminars, run at a later time of day to provide access for teachers in even more countries around the globe, on 10th February from 15.00 to 18.00 UK time.
