You can use LANGUAGECERT Academic or LANGUAGECERT ESOL as part of your UK Student visa application, if you are going to study a course at degree level or above, at a Higher Education Institution (HEI) that is a UKVI 'Licensed Sponsor'.
If you are planning to take a foundation, pathway or other below degree-level course, or you plan to study at an institution that is not a Higher Education Institution (HEI), you may need to take a Secure English Language Test (SELT), in which case you can use LANGUAGECERT Academic SELT to support your visa application.

Candidates can prove their English language proficiency by taking a LanguageCert International ESOL exam. Candidates have a choice of delivery methods; paper-based, computer-based at approved Test Centres or Online with remote, live invigilation.
