About ExamShield

PeopleCert's secure lockdown browser, ExamShield, enables enrolled candidates to take their online proctored exam through PeopleCert candidates can log in to ExamShield using their PeopleCert credentials. In order to ensure that their computer, audio, camera, and internet connection satisfy the minimum requirements, candidates can run a System Compatibility Check. Candidates can then complete their Self-Onboarding and connect with their proctor, who will validate their exam session and start the exam.

Developed and operated under PeopleCert’s Quality Management System which is certified and annually audited according to ISO 27001: Information Security, ISO 23988: Use of IT in the Delivery of Assessments, ISO 17024: Certification of Persons, and Cyber Essentials
In line with Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) procedures for software development lifecycle, with a goal of enhancing software security and dependability
Subject to internal (by PeopleCert) and external (by 3rd parties) penetration testing and vulnerability assessment, at least once per year and after every major release
