High Stakes Test Centre Security

Controlled rooms, approved equipment and central assurance

Controlled rooms, approved equipment and central assurance

High Stakes Test Centres combine face-to-face identity checks with secure workstations, local invigilation and central oversight. Audit findings and intelligence determine the level of ongoing assurance activity.

Security Controls

In-person identity checks

In-person identity checks

Specialised staff inspect the candidate and their identity document at check-in. Security features can be examined using dedicated document-checking equipment.
Controlled testing environment

Centrally managed equipment, workstation monitoring, and CCTV support consistent exam conditions. Staff also apply test-day room and device checks.
Central monitoring

Central monitoring

CCTV supports oversight of the candidate journey at the test centre. At sites with live CCTV streaming, LANGUAGECERT teams can monitor sessions centrally and escalate concerns under defined procedures. Workstation images support identity investigations.
Audit and enforcement

Audit and enforcement

Remote, onsite and thematic audits assess continuing compliance. LANGUAGECERT can suspend or terminate centres and take action on affected results when assurance cannot be maintained.

Approval starts the assurance process. It does not end it.

New centres face early review, while ongoing audits, risk ratings and intelligence shape future monitoring.
