Take2: A second chance to pass your exam!
We get that it's really important to feel relaxed and calm when taking your SELT exam for your UKVI visa - so to take the pressure off, we offer you the chance to add a re-sit option when booking your LanguageCert SELT Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking exams at levels B1 - C2.
Take2 re-sit exam option is offered at a fraction of the exam price and becomes available in the case of an unsuccessful SELT result. All re-sits are conducted at LanguageCert approved SELT Centres and must be taken within 14 days of the last scheduled SELT exam.
Results will be issued within 5 business days after the re-sit has been completed.

Validity
The Take2 re-sit service can be purchased during the LanguageCert International ESOL SELT (L,R,W,S) exam registration and it is activated only if a candidate gets
- a HIGH PASS in each of the 3 skills (Listening, Reading, Writing) of the Written component + a PASS in the Spoken component
OR - a HIGH PASS in the Spoken component + a PASS across the 3 skills (Listening, Reading, Writing) of the Written component
If candidates meet one of the above criteria, the re-sit option is automatically enabled and they receive an email prompting them to schedule their re-sit exam within 14 days of their last exam.
Please note that all SELT Take2 re-sits are offered at approved SELT Centres in the UK and internationally.

Take2 is automatically activated only if the required conditions are met*
Results are issued only after re-sitting the component.
Schedule your 2nd chance
The re-sit must be scheduled and taken within 14 days of the last exam component. Official results will be issued within 5 business days after the re-sit has been completed.
Take2 is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot under any circumstances be redeemed for cash or credit. Candidates must schedule and re-sit the exam within 14 days of the last scheduled component. Take2 is not component-specific. Failing to show up or reschedule a Take2 exam prior to the arranged time slot forfeits the candidate’s ability to use the Take2 add-on.
