How to verify exam results
Learn how your institution can access candidate Test Reports and Statements of Results, interpret score information, and securely verify results. Explore the result documents issued for each LANGUAGECERT exam and learn how to use our new Scores Verification System effectively, whether you're reviewing an individual application or handling high volumes.

Receiving and reviewing results

Once candidates are notified of their results, they can send them securely directly from their LANGUAGECERT account to the institution they are applying to for immediate review.

Test Reports

LANGUAGECERT Academic and LANGUAGECERT General results are issued in a Test Report that is uploaded to the candidate’s online account. Results for all skills are reported in the same Test Report.
Each Test Report provides:

  • A total score and individual skill scores, each out of 100 in the LANGUAGECERT Global Scale
  • The total CEFR level achieved

LANGUAGECERT ESOL results are issued in a Statement of Results (SoR) that is uploaded to the candidate’s online account. Two separate SoRs are provided: one for the Written (Listening, Reading, Writing) and one for the Spoken exam (Speaking). 
Each Test Report provides:

  • The exam level
  • The overall achievement (High Pass, Pass or Fail)
  • Numerical results per skill.

LANGUAGECERT SELT results are issued in a Test Report that is uploaded to the candidate’s online account. Results for all skills are included in the same Test Report.

Certificates
All candidates who pass a LANGUAGECERT exam are awarded a certificate. Certificates provide information about the exam and the candidate’s overall achievement, but do not include individual results per skill. For a breakdown of results for each skill, please refer to the Statement of Results (SoR) or Test Report.

New Scores Verification System (SVS)

LANGUAGECERT Results Verification Service provides a secure and reliable way for institutions, governments and employers to verify candidates’ results for all LANGUAGECERT exams. Our new Scores Verification System is a secure, user-friendly system designed to support reliable scores verification across all LANGUAGECERT exams. Developed for the needs of higher education institutions and organisations that regularly verify candidate results, this enhanced platform offers advanced features and improved security through a simple login process.

Once signed in, institutions can:

  • Securely and accurately verify candidate results
  • Search and review previously verified results
  • Filter results by country and other useful criteria
  • Receive notifications when candidates share results from their accounts
  • Access the Admissions Toolkit for useful resources
  • Manage user access, as authorised administrators can easily add, remove, and oversee users within their organisation.

This system is ideal for institutions that manage high volumes of verifications or require centralised user administration.
