Is silence a part of your communication toolkit? Silence is often misunderstood as the absence of communication, but in reality, it is a powerful and intentional way of connecting with others. It includes an important dimension of listening, namely active listening, where even the absence of words can convey attention and understanding. Silence can play a vital role in a school environment, where relationships, emotional safety, and learning are deeply interconnected. In this webinar, we will explore silence not as a gap in teaching, but as the space where real learning, reflection, and emotional processing take place.

Chantelle Walsh

Teacher, teacher trainer and interlocutor

Chantelle Walsh is a teacher, teacher trainer and LANGUAGECERT interlocutor for all levels. She holds a degree in Irish Language and Literature from University College Dublin and a Higher Diploma in Education from Maynooth University, Ireland. Having started her career as a state school teacher, she has enjoyed training and working with teachers in both primary and secondary schools across Italy for the past twenty years.
