Letting Go to Grow: The Psychology of Change for Educators
Change can open the door to growth, but it can also feel uncomfortable, uncertain, and deeply personal. In this session, Chantelle Walsh will explore why change is often difficult, what happens emotionally when we let go of familiar habits and routines, and how psychological safety can support us through periods of transition. Through practical reflection and accessible psychological insights, teachers will look at ways to manage resistance, build resilience, and respond to uncertainty with greater confidence and self-compassion. Together, the session will explore how understanding the human side of change can help educators move from simply coping with change to using it as an opportunity for growth and development.
