See It, Say It, Make It: Visual arts for multimodal language learning

Visual arts open a world of possibility to spark curiosity in our students. In this practical session, we will explore with Dr Nóra Wünsch-Nagy how different forms of art can inspire students to engage with language tasks creatively. Explore strategies to help your students engage with art forms multimodally and then use these experiences to express themselves through speaking, drawing, writing or digital composing. Join Dr Wünsch-Nagy to discover how to turn (digital) comics, paintings and installations into valuable resources to develop our students’ language skills.
