Yurena was established in 1990. It is located in Novo mesto, a small town in the south-east of Slovenia. It is a privately-owned language school specialising in teaching foreign languages to young learners and adults, and Slovenian to foreigners.

Yurena has been operating for 28 years as a privately-owned language school. A small school with only one classroom has developed into a big, widely recognised school with eleven classrooms, of which seven are equipped with interactive boards. We are located in the centre of a historical town called Novo mesto, which is the centre of Lower Carniola in the South-East of Slovenia. We also provide courses for companies and institutions on their premises.

We offer courses in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Slovenian as a foreign language and other languages on demand. Our courses are designed for children, teenagers, adults, companies and professionals. We offer general language, business language and exam-prep courses, as well as tailor-made courses to cater for every need of our students. In the summer we take students to good quality colleges in the United Kingdom and Austria.
We also provide translation services.

We pride ourselves of being the first LanguageCert Approved Test Centre in Slovenia, assisting our students in reaching their full academic and personal potential through the English language qualifications: LanguageCert International ESOL and LanguageCert Young Learners.
