About the exam:
- All candidates take the same test regardless of language proficiency and receive a certificate placing them at levels A1 to C2 of the CEFR based on their performance
- Assesses Listening and Reading skills, as well as command of English grammar and vocabulary
- Establishes English language proficiency reliably and quickly
- Questions are delivered in a multiple-choice format.

Computer-adaptive test (CAT):
- Taken at a Test Centre
- A CAT adjusts in real time both the order and degree of difficulty of test items based on the candidate’s responses to (all) previous questions
- Duration of approximately 1 hour, with a maximum of 1 hour 30 minutes
- 58 questions
Online exams with remote, live invigilation:
- Taken anytime*, anyplace** 24/7/365

*Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), developed by the Council of Europe, is widely used to describe levels of language proficiency.
**Requirements include a quiet room with no distractions, a computer, a webcam and a stable internet connection. Candidates must also be alone in the room, which should be secure and free from any interruptions.
